As part of our transition programme, we offer a range of opportunities to help children feel confident and excited about joining Parkside. From Year 4 onwards, students from our local feeder primary schools are invited to attend taster days, giving them the chance to experience life at secondary school. In July of Year 6, students take part in a three-day transition week, where they meet staff, make new friends and get to know our routines before starting in September. We also welcome families for tours of our school, so you can see first-hand what makes Parkside such a special place to learn and grow.
